Finished reading Hot Planet by Michael Burns. Was impressed with amount of research evident in material. Senarios created by Mr. Burns associated with projected situations were realistic and held my interest to the end. I am always impressed when an individual takes the time and effort(possibly months or years) to research a topic of interest and is willing to share the information for me to assimulate in a few hours. If interested in information concerning potential planet warming and effects Hot Planet is a book to read.Product details

This book is a must read. If you don't read anything else this year you need to read this book. It is incredible!
This book is told in an action adventure tale, yet all that occurs could and will actually happen to our planet because of the abuse we've given it. The first 20 pages or so are a little slow and tangled but get past them and you're on a roller coaster ride to the end of the world as we know it.
Mr. Burns makes you really sit back and take a good look at what we have done to our planet and what the planet will do to us. It will also make you ask the question, "Why doesn't our government see this?"
You've got to read this book then pass it on to a friend and so on and so on!
Hot Planet captivated me from the very first page. The author weaves scientific fact with a futuristic, suspenseful plot that articulates the catastrophic events that in all probability could occur across the planet as a result of global warming. The premise of the novel is definitely a wake up call for all of us.
If you want to become more aware of the damage the human race is doing to our planet Earth, then you should definitely read this book.
